Home Farm sits within the Aldenham Estate in the Hertfordshire Green Belt, a private expanse of meadow, mature woodland, and a secluded lake that gives the impression of deep countryside. The train from central London to Elstree and Borehamwood takes under 25 minutes, and the site is 1.5 miles from the station, which rather undermines the usual excuses for not going.

Twelve yurts and bell tents are spread across the grounds with enough separation to feel individual.
