Hill Farm sits on Aston Hill in the Chiltern Hills AONB, backed directly onto Wendover Woods, a 15-minute walk brings you to the main forest area and its cafe. The site is small: 0.5 acres, 18 pitches, split between a tent paddock and a caravan/motorhome area, with a handful of pre-pitched bell tents for those who want to arrive light.

Laura and Jill run the place with a hospitality that reviewers mention unprompted: free tea and coffee in the kitchen room, a willingness to help first-timers pitch their tent, and an easy-going atmosphere where large groups stay quiet by instinct rather than instruction.
