Hill Farm and Orchard sits at the edge of Slapton village, tucked into a mature apple orchard that runs right down to the Grand Union Canal towpath. Four pods, widely spaced, face out toward the Ivinghoe Hills Nature Reserve and the low ridge of the Chilterns beyond. It's a couple of hours from London and yet genuinely quiet in a way that surprises people.

Each Wigwam is en-suite and well-equipped, with a private hot tub and fire pit outside. The orchard does the work visually: you get blossom in spring, shade in summer, and that particular October light that makes everything worth the journey. Goats live on the farm and are unabashedly friendly. The owner runs this with real care: contactless gate-code check-in, a thorough info pack, a good luck card waiting on arrival.

The towpath puts a local pub within a gentle stroll, and the canal itself opens up long flat cycling and walking routes in both directions. The Outer Aylesbury Ring trail runs within 2km. Leighton Buzzard is about five miles away for supplies. Lapwings are apparently present if you're lucky.
