Pineapple Farm sits on a working estate outside Salwayash, a few minutes from Bridport, with the Dorset AONB on its doorstep. The approach takes you past a small business park before the campsite opens up on one side, once you're pitched, the surrounding farmland reasserts itself and the industrial edge disappears. Pitches are generous, with electric hookup and cold water on site, and the orchard doubles as a free-range space for dogs.

What keeps people coming back is the quiet. This is an adult-only site by design, and the atmosphere reflects it: well-maintained, unhurried, with unisex individual shower cubicles that mean no morning queues. The on-site shop carries essentials, some decent cider and wine, and fresh breakfast baps. The fire-pits are fashioned from old washing-machine drums, which tells you something about the owner's approach: practical, characterful, not trying too hard.

Bridport town is close for provisions, and the coast is genuinely accessible: Hive Beach and West Bay are a short drive, with cliff-top and inland walking routes offering what one regular called 'sneaky views of the sea.' The Monarch's Way long-distance trail passes within a couple of kilometres. A cider farm is within walking distance for an evening drink.
