Dorset Nectar sits inside one of the more distinctive settings in the county: a working organic cider orchard of around 3, 000 mature apple trees outside Bridport. Each tent pitch is positioned among the trees, giving genuine separation from your neighbours and the quiet rustling-leaves backdrop that makes an orchard so good for camping. Every pitch comes with a fire pit.

The on-site tasting room and shop is the heart of the operation, stocked with the farm's own ciders, honey, handmade goods and local produce. Tours of the orchard run during the season, led by owners Penny and Oliver who clearly know every tree. The dark skies here, away from town lights and under the canopy, are genuinely good on a clear night.

This is adults-only (16+) and tent-only: no caravans, no vehicles on pitch, no children. It sits within the West Dorset AONB landscape close to the Jurassic Coast, with Bridport market town nearby and West Bay, Lyme Regis and Mapperton House all within easy reach.
