Dwyros

A laid-back coastal field on the Llŷn Peninsula where the view over Aberdaron Bay does the heavy lifting.

Dwyros sits on the edge of the Llŷn Peninsula AONB looking straight out over Aberdaron Bay. Front pitches put you close enough to hear the waves, and the coastal path starts at the site boundary, the two-hour clifftop loop above the village is worth packing your boots for.

The set-up is pleasingly unfussy: clean hot showers, laundry facilities, free WiFi, a washing-up area with warm water and a tide-times notice board, and a food van on site most days serving breakfast to a loyal queue. The village is a downhill walk away with a sandy beach, two pubs, a chippy, and a Spar, enough for a week without a car.

Pitches take both tents and caravans, with electric hookups available on the front row closest to the bay. Dogs are welcome on leads. The quiet-hours rule kicks in at 10pm, and the atmosphere during the day is calm despite the site being busy in summer, families and couples both settle in easily here.
