Chrome Hill, Parkhouse Hill (known locally as Dragon's Back), and Hollins Hill are all walkable from the gate. Down the hill, Hollinsclough village has a tea room and an honesty cafe: the kind of end-of-walk reward that a 5-pitch moorland site rarely has on its doorstep. Buxton is the nearest proper town for resupply.
