Nature's Nest

Four safari tents on a Wye Valley AONB farm with private river access, hot tubs per pitch, and views across rolling Herefordshire countryside.

Nature's Nest sits on a working farm above the River Wye, inside the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The four safari tents look out across open meadows towards the river, with the Wye itself just 200 metres away via the site's private access path. This is one of those locations where the view from the balcony stops you mid-sentence.

Each tent is a self-contained unit with a fixed hot tub on the front balcony, a fire pit, hammocks, and a well-equipped kitchen. The interiors are properly finished: electric blankets on beds, everything stocked. Book multiple tents and a shared dining space opens up, making the site work well for families travelling together or groups taking the whole place. A trampoline and games keep children occupied; paddleboards are available for the river, which runs shallow enough for a family paddle in season.

The farm's honesty shop sells provisions including the estate's own apple juice, which guests mention repeatedly. A pizza oven and BBQ complete the on-site cooking options. Dogs are genuinely welcome: tents have a dedicated gate at the hot tub to keep them safe on the balcony.

Before you book

  • Only four pitches, so availability is limited, especially in peak summer; book well ahead.
