Erwlon Caravan
Three-generation dairy farm in Llandovery where the River Gwydderig runs alongside the pitches and the Brecon Beacons are on your doorstep.
Erwlon has been a working dairy farm for three generations, and the campsite has grown up alongside the cows rather than replacing them. Set on Brecon Road just outside Llandovery, the site sits in a river valley with the Gwydderig running along one edge, reviewers consistently mention falling asleep to it. Pitches across the site vary from open grass for tents to hardstanding for tourers, and a separate pod area with a private outlook over a stream and the sheep fields beyond.
Llandovery is ten minutes on foot: pubs, cafes, shops, and a castle, all without moving the car. From here, the Brecon Beacons are within easy reach for walking and mountain biking, and the Four Waterfalls Walk is a popular day trip. Walking and cycling trails start directly from the site. The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Pembrokeshire Coast are also within roughly an hour.
Facilities are heated throughout and kept to a high standard, spotless showers and toilets come up repeatedly in guest accounts. Electric hookups run on a pay-as-you-go app (staff are helpful if you need the manual fallback). New owners took over in 2026 and are earning the trust of regulars. There is a dedicated dog-walking area within the site, and the town's independent pubs are genuinely dog-friendly territory.
Before you book

“A proper working-farm campsite at the gateway to the Brecon Beacons: honest, clean, independently run, and better located than it looks on the map.”
