Copy House Hideaway
Three beautifully fitted-out units on the Lancashire-Yorkshire border, where a wood-fired hot tub and views across Pendle Hill make a couples' break genuinely hard to leave.
Copy House Hideaway is a small, owner-run glamping operation between Earby and Lothersdale, right on the edge of Pendle Hill country. Hosts Lisa and Phil run it with the kind of attention that shows up in the details: welcome wine, brownies, fresh bread, and bowls of dog treats for whoever arrives on four legs. There are three units, the Heather Hut (a well-equipped pod), a shepherd's hut, and a barn conversion that guests frequently describe as somewhere they could happily live. Each sits with its own space and a view of the hills.
The wood-fired hot tub is the centrepiece. It's covered, lit with fairy lights, and positioned to catch the sunset over Earby and Pendle Hill. Unlike many hot-tub glamping operations where the tub feels like an add-on, here it's the reason to come: fire it up, pour a drink from the welcome selection, and watch the sky go dark over the moor. The Pendle Way footpath is accessible directly from the site, so there's a solid walk before or after if you want to earn it.
The units are ground-floor, well-stocked, and genuinely self-contained. A coffee machine, air fryer, microwave, board games, and books are standard. Dogs are actively welcomed, with treats from the hosts on arrival and a field in front of the hut for morning stretches. The barn sleeps a couple in more space; the Heather Hut is smaller but has a place for everything. This is couples' territory through and through, though solo visitors and well-behaved dogs also get a proper reception.
Before you book
- Units are small, particularly the Heather Hut, read the space descriptions before booking if you need room to move around.
