Parc Isaf Camping and Caravan Park

A working Snowdonia farm with sweeping Cardigan Bay views, immaculate facilities, and none of the holiday-park noise.

Parc Isaf sits on a working farm inside Snowdonia National Park, midway between Barmouth and Harlech on the mid-Wales coast. The views are the reason to come: from the pitches, Cardigan Bay spreads out to the west, with the Llyn Peninsula visible to the north on a clear day. Sandy beaches lie two miles away, and the Wales Coast Path passes close by.

The site takes tents, caravans, and motorhomes on a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches. Facilities are kept to a high standard: proper showers, toilets, laundry room, electric hookup on selected pitches, and chemical disposal. Owners are present and reputably helpful. The pace is quiet rather than social, with pitches spread across a genuine farm setting rather than a flat paddock.

Above the site, lakes offer walking from the door. Gors y Gedol forest is within reach, and a Neolithic burial chamber sits not far away for those who like their camping with a side of history. Barmouth and Harlech are both a short drive along the coast.

Before you book

  • The approach from the main road involves a steep climb, which larger American RVs and very long outfits may find challenging. On foot from the road it is a noticeable hill.
One of the most quietly compelling farm pitches on the Cardigan Bay coast: Snowdonia on the doorstep, the sea in view, and facilities kept with evident care.
