Lillyroo's is a bell tent glamping site an acre wide, pitched between Deal and Sandwich in a corner of East Kent that gives you more to do than most glamping spots manage. Betteshanger Park is just a stone's throw, the historic town of Sandwich is close enough to cycle, and Canterbury is a short drive for a day out. Cottington Lakes Fishery and Sanctuary Bay Bird Observatory are both in reach, making the location as useful as it is pleasant.

Owner Dave runs the place with a hands-on warmth that comes through in the details: every tent arrives well-equipped so you're not hunting for kit, the breakfast options are properly considered, and he's been known to take guests' kids into the chicken house to collect eggs. The barn and bar area has log burners, cosy blankets, and a relaxed social atmosphere that leans into events rather than avoiding them. Oktoberfest, live bands, pizza nights. It suits couples well and handles families comfortably too.

Each pitch has its own fire pit, and there's BBQ provision across the site. The site is flat and well-maintained, with facilities reviewers consistently describe as clean and well-run. Dogs are welcome in some units only, so check at booking if you're bringing one. The price indicator is premium, which reflects the level of fitting-out and on-site offering rather than a corporate gloss.
