Farview Campsite
A five-acre farm on the Lizard Peninsula where wallabies graze in the meadow and Mullion Cove is a ten-minute walk away.
Farview sits on the outskirts of Mullion with grass meadow pitches that look out over rolling Cornish countryside to a horizon you genuinely want to watch at dusk. Sixteen pitches keep the place human-scaled, and the farm animals sharing the land, wallabies, emus, guanacos, goats, horses, donkeys, give it a character no facilities list could convey.
The coast is the real anchor. Mullion Cove is less than a mile away on foot, Mullion Harbour is a ten-minute walk, and Poldu Beach is a five-minute drive. The South West Coast Path passes close enough to make this a proper base for day walks rather than a near-coast consolation prize. Evenings pull everyone back to the communal fire, and guests who checked the forecast before bed mention the stargazing in the same breath as the sunsets.
Jane runs the site herself and her presence is felt throughout: clean bathrooms, a shared kitchen area with kettle and toaster, fridges for guest use, and the kind of attentiveness that earns the place its reputation. The animal feeding experience, including goat milking for children, costs next to nothing and is thoroughly endorsed. Mullion village pubs are a fifteen-minute stroll; Helston is eight miles inland.
