Camping Field
Andrews Field is a gate-code riverside pitch on the Avon near Pershore where the weir does the entertaining and the facilities list stops at a water tap.
Thirty-one grass pitches sit directly on the River Avon at Strensham Mill, south-facing and open to the countryside beyond. Pick the right spot and you watch river boats pass Eckington bridge while your coffee brews. The weir is close enough to hear at night, which is either the thing that sells it or the detail that confirms it.
Facilities are minimal by design: fresh running water, an elsan point, clean toilets, and nothing else. No electric hookups, no shop, no warden on site. The gate code keeps it private. Fishing is free on the bank, and the paddleboard launch is right in front of the riverbank pitches. Kingfishers and deer are regular company; the Milky Way is a decent show on a clear night.
Pershore is a short walk away, with two village pubs reachable on foot and a village shop about fifteen minutes along the path. Cyclists make the run to Tewkesbury along the river. Andrews Field suits campers who travel light, want water to sleep next to, and are happy self-sufficient.
Before you book
