Greenway Touring sits in a peaceful Shropshire valley near Craven Arms, with the Long Mynd on the horizon and Ludlow a short drive south. It takes tents, caravans, motorhomes, and well-equipped glamping pods, all sharing the same well-maintained ground. Adults only, 18 and over, and the absence of children is not incidental to the experience: the quiet here is genuine, the kind where you can hear lambs in the neighbouring field.

The hosts are a consistent presence and a consistent highlight. Facilities are kept to an above-average standard: showers and toilets are clean and plentiful, electric hookups available, and the pods come kitted with a comfortable bed, fridge, crockery, and a chiminea outside. The BBQ grill is available for pod guests. On clear nights the sky is dark enough to make stargazing a reason to stay rather than a pleasant surprise.

The site works best as a base for the Shropshire Hills: the Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley are within reach, Church Stretton offers a local market-town feel, and Ludlow's food and market scene is worth the short drive. The Swan pub is up the road from the site. Craven Arms village itself is limited for eating out, so plan accordingly if you want dinner without driving.
