Etties Field takes its name and its whole personality from Ettie, a vintage Airstream caravan that sits at the heart of the site. The pitches are generous and well-spaced, separated by wildflowers and solar lanterns, giving the place an easy, meadow-festival energy without any of the noise. Adjacent farm animals, from donkeys to chickens to cows, wander just over the fence and add the kind of incidental charm you can't design in.

Every pitch comes with either a fire pit or a chiminea included, so the evening routine is already sorted. EHU is available, and there's a social shelter called the Bud that works well for family gatherings or a group dinner out of the wind. Footpaths lead from the field to nearby villages with proper pubs, making it practical as well as pleasant. At around £40 a night for a tent pitch with hookup, the value is straightforward.

The site takes tents, caravans, and motorhomes on grass pitches, and the Airstream glamping units mean there's a range even within a single visit. Showers and toilets are on site. The former café no longer operates, so come self-sufficient for food and supplies beyond fire packs, which can be pre-ordered.
