Blue Hills Touring Site

A well-run Cornwall AONB touring site between St Agnes and Perranporth, with the South West Coast Path on your doorstep and obsessively clean facilities.

Blue Hills sits in Trevellas, tucked into the north Cornwall coast between St Agnes and Perranporth, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South West Coast Path passes close by, and Trevellas Porth is roughly 15 minutes downhill on foot (allow 30 back). A local cove is even closer. Views from the site stretch across rugged coastline, St Agnes Beacon, and on clear evenings the sun drops straight into the sea.

The site runs four fields with spacious, flat pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, all with electric hookup. For those who want a roof, safari tents come equipped with a small kitchen, smart TV, gas barbecue, and a private hot tub checked daily by the team. The facilities block is consistently praised for being spotless, and there is a separate laundry room with a communal fridge-freezer, microwave, and kettle.

Hosts Ginny and Martin have built a reputation for a genuine welcome: greeted on arrival, help with pitching, and an attention to detail that shows in how the site is maintained. Dogs are actively welcomed and the site puts thought into what that actually means. Harvey's Field handles larger family groups with room for extra tents and a gazebo alongside. The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site surrounds the area, and Perranporth's shops are six minutes by car.

Before you book

  • Turning right out of the site leads onto very narrow lanes; the coastal path direction is easier than the road.
  • The site is open Easter to October only.
Blue Hills earns its reputation through meticulous owner care and a coastal AONB location that does the heavy lifting the moment you step onto the path.
